I am Fancy Paper. I am an Irish midlands lass. A mother of two small girls, being married to an Irish farmer and being a full time teacher of English and History keeps me busy. I held it all together quite a bit but I will tell the truth- having children was hard. A tough time, a tired, tired head and more than one low moment made me look for a new outlet. So I began to blog.

Fancypaperblog was born to combat the anxieties of parenting using anecdotes and observations from my parenting world in the Irish midlands.’ That is the official line and the original reason.

Now? I just bludy love it. Parenting is my priority. Blogging has become a lifestyle love. I am having my cake and eating it. What else would I do with it?
